Looking for a one-of-a-kind painting for your home or a meaningful gift? Based in Somerset West in the beautiful winelands of South Africa, I’m currently accepting a limited number of commissions each year and would love to create something personal and timeless for you.

How to commission a painting?

Please get in touch using the form below or by emailing me directly at info@melissaeybersart.com. When you reach out, include the following details:

  • What you’d like painted – If emailing, you’re welcome to attach reference photos (please only send images you own or have permission to use).

  • Preferred size – Let me know the dimensions or approximate size you’d like.

  • Deadline – Especially if the artwork is intended as a gift for a special occasion (e.g., birthday, anniversary).

  • Shipping – Even though I am situated in Somerset West in the Western Cape, South Africa, I can ship nationwide as well as internationally. Please let me know where you are so that I an factor in shipping costs if necessary.

What happens next?

  • I’ll respond with a quotation or follow-up questions if I need more details.

  • Once you approve the quote, I’ll send a contract along with an invoice for a 50% deposit to begin work.

  • I’ll keep you updated throughout the process and, if you agree, share behind-the-scenes progress on social media (please note: I do not share images of children for safety reasons).

  • The remaining balance is due once the painting is complete and you’re fully satisfied with the result.

Pricing

Commission pricing depends on size, subject, and complexity. As a guide, most commissions start from R8,000 for smaller works and range upward for larger or more detailed pieces. I’ll always give you a clear, no-obligation quote before we begin.
