About the artist

Flowers have always captivated me—their delicate structures, intricate details, and fleeting beauty tell a story of nature’s quiet elegance. Through my oil paintings, I seek to magnify this beauty, zooming in on petals, textures, and the interplay of light and color. My work explores the almost otherworldly forms that emerge when we truly pause to observe flowers up close. Each painting is an invitation to slow down and appreciate the hidden complexity and richness found in nature’s smallest moments.

My artistic journey began in childhood, with formal art lessons starting at the age of seven, continuing through school, and later culminating in a BTech degree in Performing Arts Technology, specializing in prop making and scenic painting. This background has given me a deep understanding of materials, color theory, and composition, which I bring into my floral paintings. While my career in film production has shaped my technical skills, painting has remained a constant, a personal exploration of beauty beyond the fast-paced world of the industry.

For over 15 years, I have painted alongside my work in film, allowing my artistic voice to evolve organically. I am drawn to the way oil paint captures the depth and vibrancy of flowers, layering pigments to create luminous, lifelike images. My goal is not only to celebrate nature’s artistry but also to evoke an emotional response—whether it be joy, nostalgia, or wonder. Through my work, I hope to remind viewers of the profound beauty found in the details that often go unnoticed.
